Gratitude for your BODY

A lot of us say mean things about our bodies because we are afraid if we don’t look a certain way then we are unlovable. We think that if we say mean things it will whip us into the right kind of behavior. We might not think this on purpose, but for a lot of people this is always going on in our subconscious mind, where 85% of our decisions are made.

A lot of us are afraid of our bodies because we are scared of getting sick or having a difficult time in old age due to poor health. We know we should be having more fresh veggies and protein but ice cream tastes pretty amazing. We see the sick and old and it brings up a primal fear; once again in the subconscious mind.

Fear is natural. We can’t get rid of it completely. But we can expand love. We can bring in more light.

Think about this: If a plant responds well to sweet-talk from its owner, and your body is much more sophisticated than any plant AND it definitely hears everything you say… don’t you think it will do much better if you say nice things to it? We know that the answer is yes.

Bring in more love. Bring in more light. Focus on being loving to your body. Not berating it for the choices that your mind makes!

Repeat: Thank you muscles. Thank you blood. Thank you bones. Thank you lungs. Thank you sex organs. Thank you feet. Thank you hands. Thank you cells. You work so hard for me. Thank you…
